*मर्यादा के दीप, करुणा की वंदना*

वन-वायु में आज भी जैसे उनकी पवित्र कहानी बहती है,
जिन्होंने धरती पर चलकर मर्यादा की रेखा गहरी लिखी है।
वे राम—जिनके चरणों में संघर्ष भी सौम्य हो जाते हैं,
जिनके वचन से सत्पथ के दीप निरंतर जल उठते हैं।

वे शांत, किंतु भीतर पर्वत-सा अदम्य धैर्य सँजोए हुए,
वे वीर, जिन्होंने अन्याय के तम को छिन्न-विछिन्न किया।
हर श्वास में सत्य, हर क्षण में नीति का सुगंधित संगीत,
वे धर्मपथ के पथिक, जिन्होंने जग को मानवी प्रकाश दिया।

और वहाँ—अशोकवाटिका की दृढ़ छाया में खड़ी जो ज्योति,
वे माता सीता—जिनके नयन करुणा के अनंत सरोवर थे।
जिनके हृदय में त्याग का निर्मल, अनश्वर, पवित्र सूर्य,
जिनके तप में शक्ति के अखंड, अचल, अजेय स्वर थे।

वे—जिन्होंने दुःख को भी सतीत्व की गरिमा में पिरोया,
जिनके साहस ने रावण के अहंकार को तिनके-सा तोड़ दिया।
जिन्होंने हर परिस्थिति में धर्म का दीप सुरक्षित रखा,
जिनकी निष्ठा ने समस्त जगत में स्त्री-शक्ति का मान दिया।

राम—जिनके संग चलकर भी वे स्वयं एक ज्योति-स्तंभ बनीं,
वे वैदेही, जिनके तेज से युग की धूलकण तक उजली है।
जिन्होंने क्षमा को करुणा की धरती पर सहज रोप दिया,
और जिनकी आत्मनिर्भर छवि आज भी शक्ति का स्वर गूँजी है।

मर्यादा और शक्ति—जब दोनों एक साथ चल पड़ते हैं,
तब राम-सीता के जीवन से आदर्शों का युग जन्म लेता है।
उनके चरणों की धूल से अब भी मानवता पथ पाती है,
उनके प्रेम और कर्तव्य का संगीत जग को शुचि कर देता है।

वे राम—मर्यादा के दीप।
वे सीता—शक्ति की वंदना।
इन दोनों की कथा अमर है, मानव-धर्म का परम गीत,
जो युगों-युगों तक जीवन को दिव्यता का मार्ग दिखाता है।

*रामराग*

वे राम—जिनके वचन उजाले, जिनसे धरतीधाम सजे,
उन्हें नमन करते ही मन में सौ सद्गुण अपने आप बजे।

वे सीता—जिनके धैर्य-कमल से कठिन सँधियाँ भी खिल जातीं,
उनके स्मरण से जीवन-नैया आँधी में भी पार बँधाती।

जिन्होंने सेवा-सेतु रचा था—वह हनुमान कृपा के दीप,
उनके नाम भरें मनोबल, टूटे साहस जोड़ें सीप।

वे राम—जिनके न्याय-सुरभि से जन-जन का विश्वास खिले,
उन्हें स्मरण करते ही मन में शांति के शत-निर्झर मिले।

वे सीता—जिनके त्याग-दीप से हर पथ स्वर्णिम हो जाता,
जिनके साहस से थका हुआ जीवन फिर से गान गाता।

वे दोनों—धर्म-शक्ति के दीपक, जिनके प्रेम अनंत सुहाए,
उनके चरण-स्मरण से मानव हर दुःखदायी रात बिताए।

The Silence of Rama

Rama walks the earth with an empty bowl.
In Shiva’s ancient city, as he asks for alms,
I stand upon the shadowed ghats of the Ganga
and wonder if the true lords of the Vedas
are not Rama or Krishna—
but Indra, crowned by storms.

Valmiki sees Rama as the Eternal Light,
Tulsidas shapes him as the Perfect Man,
Nirala bows before him as a noble human,
and Naresh Mehta finds in him
a trembling, questioning soul.

When Rama stepped out of heaven’s language
into the tongue of ordinary folk,
he became one of us.
But now his name is tuned
to the anthem of nationalism,
claimed by those who wield power.

I tell a new tale of Ram.
Believe me—
I do not chant his name,
I only gesture toward his sacrifice.

When Krishna becomes a coin
in the hands of politics,
and Rama a gambler’s final trump,
how can devotion stay alive?

Do the Ramnamis fear Kabir’s Ram?
Is Hanuman’s Ram being ushered in by the state?
Will the Buddhist Ram remain silent?
Will the Jain Ram speak a word?
Does every heart contain its own separate Ram?

And the poet—standing in the opposition—
what is he to do?

“When will Rama come to my hut?” I ask
a tender devotee.
She smiles gently:
“When you find a job,
then Rama will visit you.
For now, he travels only to Ayodhya.”

Questions will rain upon Rama,
yet Rama will not reply.

Narada once said:
No one is as generous as Ram,
as compassionate,
as brave,
as beautiful,
as faithful in love…

But today he does not seek hearts—
he seeks a temple.
Not a cottage—
but a country.

Now he guards politics
more than he guards dharma.
Across the cold winter nights,
the worshippers of dark money
walk icy roads just to glimpse him.
A strange fever grips the nation.

He becomes the guarantee—
of policy, intent, leadership—
for the rulers of the day.

Bigger than King Ram
stands another figure—
seen everywhere except on the currency note.
He is on kites,
on bridges,
on platforms,
on highways,
on social screens,
on pens and on the lotus.

Upon the lotus he sits like Brahma.
He has dwarfed Ram himself.
Today the chant is not “Ram Ram”—
but his name alone
